About This Cardiovascular Screening Event

This free cardiovascular screening event provides two essential ultrasound tests: a Carotid Duplex ultrasound, which evaluates the neck arteries for plaque or narrowing, and an Echocardiogram, which assesses the size, movement, and function of the heart and valves. 

These screenings help detect early signs of cardiovascular disease, allowing residents to take proactive steps toward their heart health.

This program is funded in part by the City of Bowie to support preventive health services for our community.

Eligibility:
This screening is available to City of Bowie residents age 40 and older.

Important:
To allow us to serve as many residents as possible, please select only one screening type, either the Carotid Duplex or the Echocardiogram when scheduling your appointment.

Screening Dates

Carotid Duplex Ultrasound:
March 7, 2026  - 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Echocardiogram:
April 25, 2026 -  9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
