Hello! I’m Olajumoke Ajayi, Founder of WellSpring Health Outreach. The painful loss of my brother ignited a passion in me to help ensure others never miss the chance to receive the care they need. In the midst of grief, I found a renewed sense of purpose to close the gaps that prevent people from accessing timely, life-saving care.
Olajumoke Ajayi, MHS, RVT, founded WellSpring Health Outreach with one purpose in mind - to close the health gap in communities where preventive care is often delayed or overlooked. Having witnessed firsthand how early detection can save lives, she launched this nonprofit to bring accessible cardiovascular screenings, health education, and wellness tools directly to residents who need them most. Her vision is simple yet powerful: to restore hope, revive wellness, and transform lives through prevention.
Olajumoke Ajayi, MHS, RVT, began her career in X-ray before transitioning into Vascular ultrasound, where she has served for over 20 years.
She has worked as a Vascular sonographer, as well as a Clinical Preceptor, the professional that students and residents are assigned to for hands-on training, skill development, and real-world scanning experience.
In this role, she taught, supervised, and evaluated learners at her clinical sites, helping them perfect their vascular scanning skills and preparing them for professional practice.
Olajumoke currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Howard Community College, supporting the next generation of sonographers by helping them strengthen and refine their vascular ultrasound competencies in the scan lab.
Leadership & Impact
For more than 20 years, Olajumoke has been known for her high standards, precise scanning skills, and her commitment to teaching the next generation of sonographers. She has trained numerous students, supported residents in procedural learning, and contributed to improving the quality of ultrasound education within clinical and academic settings.
Her leadership extends beyond clinical expertise. She is a mentor, educator, and advocate for preventive health. Her ability to connect with patients, empower learners, and serve communities is the driving force behind WellSpring Health Outreach.
Too many people go without care, not because they don’t want it, but because they lack access, resources, or information. That realization fueled my commitment to create a nonprofit platform that brings preventive care to those who need it most, one community at a time.
WellSpring Health Outreach was founded to bridge this gap by offering vascular and heart health screenings, mental health support, wellness services, and education, always focused on prevention and empowerment.
From the United States to communities abroad, our goal is simple; reach people early, provide knowledge, and give them a real chance at better health.
With decades of experience in healthcare, I’ve seen the challenges people face firsthand: long wait times, confusing systems, and services that feel out of reach. My work with WellSpring is driven by the belief that care should be simple, accessible, and community-centered.
WellSpring Health Outreach is more than a service, it’s a movement of compassion, equity, and action. Whether through free cardiovascular screenings, mental health conversations, or healthy lifestyle support, our focus is always the same: early intervention, community connection, and lasting impact.
I’m honored to have been featured in Voyage Baltimore, where I share my journey, the mission of WellSpring, and the values that guide our work in bringing preventive health and education directly to the community.
